Sad to see you go, Betsy. Thanks for the mention of our Crescent City Restaurant Rebirth Project. Did you make it to our Galatoire's reopening? Remember us and what you've seen when you're back in the big apple, and send a slice to the big Easy!

Nice job.

Hi Betsy,
I am an editor of a San Francisco newspaper that reaches 60,000 people in the affluent northern neighborhoods and we are focusing our Feb. issue's food section on New Orleans cuisine. We would like to list the contact information for the restaurant and food industry relief funds you have mentioned:

The New Orleans Hospitality Disaster Relief Fund, the Crescent City Restaurant Re-Birth Project, the Louisiana Restaurant Association Employee Relief Fund, the Louisiana Oyster Community Relief Fund, the Louisiana Small Farm Survival Fund

and I was wondering if you, or anyone else, could provide me with links to these websites as well as phone numbers so that our readers can help.

Thank you,
Susan Dyer Reynolds

Hey, Betsy

This is a way-informal and out-of-place comment for you: I just saw an old email from Bill that told of this blog of yours, and finished reading the fabulous last three. I really dig your writing style and reading about the NOLA aftermath, especially in regards to the food. And I think that your noting the farmer gentleman's "mouth full of fillings" was extremely colorful and descriptive, despite what some commenters say.

I'm moving on to read them all. Please let me know where else I can find your writings in the future.

Go team.
Beth
